Hemp fiber is resistant to stretching so does not distort with use and naturally softens with wear, creating a yarn perfect for warming winter projects.  Studies show that textile hemp yarn is well suited for composite reinforcement.  Processing hemp fiber for yarn does not require chlorine that produces dioxins as it does with wood fiber.  Hemp is possibly the most earth friendly crop growing on the planet.
